One of the lens groups is crimped and cannot be opened, and if it gets water in it during cleaning, like mine did, then it's a goner. The hat-shaped group CAN be opened, though, and contains 3 elements of which one is permanently attached to the metal sleeve. This one turned into a parts lens which is a shame." Tag: Visual edit
