These cameras are similar to an Olympus Trip 35. They use a simple 2-blade shutter timed by a trapped-needle mechanism and have an illuminated viewfinder with zone focus. They are mechanically simple and easy to work on. However, the top cover is made from quite thin aluminium and is easily dented.

The viewfinder uses a rangefinder-like mechanism to display the meter info and frame lines. The whole thing apart from the cardboard cover is capable of being washed in an ultrasonic cleaner (just water and detergent, obviously) to get the mirrors and lenses spotless.

The rotating counterweight in the shutter mechanism has a cam on the underside - greasing this cam/follower interface is essential or else the shutter closing time will be delayed.
